Anyone can sing. Everyone is welcome.

This year's celebration of Christmas in the Classic City - "A Feast of Carols" will feature a cornucopia of familiar carols, including two suites of The Many Moods of Christmas and selected other works.

This concert will be presented on December 16th, 2024 at 7:30pm in Hodgson Hall. Admission is free, and we hope to see you there!

Founded in 1971 as the Athens Choral Society, we are the oldest non-audition community chorus in the Athens, GA area. We are open to anyone who loves to sing, and perform a variety of classical and popular music across 3 concert seasons per year.

Each year, we choose a local charity to spotlight as a way of giving back to our community. Chosen organizations are highlighted in our concert programs all year, and invited to collect donations during our summer show performances.

Rehearsals for our Spring 2025 concert - featuring Brahms’ Liebeslieder Waltzes - will begin January 14th. Registration will be available before each of the first 3 rehearsals. No audition is required, and prospective new members are welcome to sing with us for a week or two before committing!
